Stomach Bug & Scaling Back

on May 3, 2013

So, Little Bean and I have just gotten over a particularly nasty tummy-bug. It was going around the moms’ group, but I didn’t think anything of it when I went to the babywearing meetup to return the wrap I was borrowing. Either way, it was a pretty unhappy experience for us. I was sick, and Little Bean was so sick and drooling that I thought for sure he was teething! (Even went out and bought some teething gel for him…) It wasn’t teething though, and now we’re starting to feel better… though Little Bean is still having little baby diarrhea.

I haven’t been posting much on here because of it, and also because what time I do have, I need to put into doing something more financially viable than this blog, according to Mr. Partner. We are in some serious negative income at the moment (sucky!), and it stresses him out to see me devoting so much time, energy, care, and consideration into something that isn’t making me any money. So, for the moment I’m going to scale back on posting here for a bit. I’ve been putting a lot of work into creating my own business website though, so hopefully you guys can/will check it out when it’s done? :) It’s the first design project I’ve done in a long time, and I’m rather pleased with it so far. I’m hoping to have it done within a week, there are a lot of details to pull together. As I told my sister, making a site to talk about making sites for people is more work than just making someone a site! :)

Mr. Partner did catch the tummy-bug after we got it… so, and you guys may get a crack out of this! I pumped him some breast milk to help him get over it sooner. He was back at work the next day with no complaints. Gotta love breast milk! ♥

Tummy-bug seriously? I can still remember how I got hospitalized for 2 days because of it. I got diarrhea and I spend at least 14 times in the toilet per day. Anyway, do share more about your upcoming business website.
